Los Hermanos Diner is a visual project for a Salvadoran Cuisine restaurant.
Challenge
The original logo of this local Salvadoran business is difficult to interpret due to its dark tones and unclear visuals. The branding lacks vibrancy and doesn’t reflect the energy or cultural richness of the business. Additionally, there is no packaging design, and the menu is minimal, white text on a black background, failing to capture the warmth and identity of Salvadoran cuisine.
Solution
Inspired by the spirit of the business, I developed Los Hermanos, a redesigned visual identity that highlights Salvadoran culture through bold, expressive design. Blue was chosen as the primary color to reflect the Salvadoran flag and strengthen cultural ties. I created custom illustrations of traditional dishes such as pupusas and tamales to celebrate the country’s culinary heritage. This project allowed me to combine cultural storytelling with thoughtful menu and branding design.
