Una Taza de Arte is a personal project for my fine art work.
About
Una taza de arte, means ‘a cup of art’ in Spanish, and is a personal brand created me to promote my artwork. I believe art makes the world more enjoyable and it helps us process our emotions and understand our surroundings.
Having a cup of coffee everyday is a simple act that brings comfort to a lot of people, and the concept of having a cup of art has the same intention. Surrounding ourselves with art is nourishing our minds, artistic work encourages us to accept more ideas, question more assumptions, and look at things differently.
I have created two logo options for this brand, both shows a cup with steam coming out of it, that can also be interpreted as a brush stroke.
For this art exhibit, I designed street flyers and posters to capture the attention of people strolling through the streets of New York. The poster embraces surrealism, featuring two children playfully jumping into a cup—a metaphorical ‘cup of art and creativity.’ Using a vintage photograph, it incorporates references to renowned painters, offering a glimpse into the event’s theme and essence.
